A passionate and versatile performer, Julia Marley plays Nina in the 2021 Nickelodeon live-action movie musical "The J Team." Julia had the honor of dancing alongside Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman in Ryan Murphy's Golden Globe nominated "The Prom" Netflix movie-musical. Choreographed by Tony-award winner Casey Nicholaw, Julia performed the musical's original Broadway choreography. Julia can be seen as a Holy Harmony dancer in Seasons 1 & 2 of Netflix's dramatic comedy "Dead to Me," starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini. Julia has appeared in numerous professional productions including "Children of Eden," "The Little Mermaid," "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," and "Matilda," in which she was awarded the Selvin Scholarship. Julia has been a mentor and teacher with Allwayz on Stage, a theatre company for adults with special needs, for the past seven years. She was honored with the 2019 Youth Advocate Award at Conejo Players' arts gala, recognizing her contribution to the special needs theatre community. An avid singer/songwriter, Julia's debut single "My Place" can be found on all music platforms, including iTunes and Spotify. Julia is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA.
