He received his theater acting education from renowned Indian theater figures and further honed his skills through residential acting workshops of the prestigious National School of Drama. Vajid has been a part of numerous theatrical productions across the country, not only as an actor but also as a director. In addition to his theater work, he has ventured into the film industry, taking on roles as both an actor and assistant director in commercial projects.

For over three decades Vajramuni has been a "feared" and respected household name mainly for skillfully portraying negative roles in Kannada language films.
